The father of the man who stabbed nine people at a central Minnesota mall has identified him as a 22-year-old college student.
Ahmed Adan told the Star Tribune of Minneapolis that police told him Saturday night that his son, Dahir A. Adan, died at Crossroads Center mall in St. Cloud.
He says police didn't mention the attack on the mall, but they seized photos and other materials from the family's apartmen

If you think things are going to get better because of a smattering of conservative folks living in the more rural areas (and I question that, because so many of them are the descendants of socialist German dirt farmers and have voted solid Dem for years), it is YOU that is living in a fantasyland.
Wow! Flaglady47, you could not be more wrong. Good people live everywhere. We all can’t afford to move to Texas or south. We are caring for elders that live here in the northern environs. Not exactly glamorous. I’ve been caring for my mom for almost six yeara.

Your kind of compassion gets people killed, as it did here. I’m sick of compassion that is ill considered, brings nothing but problems to our people, and disrupts our society big-time. The Somali’s in MN, especially in “Little Mogadishu” bring nothing but problems to MN, and MN better figure that out real soon. Plus the Somali’s breed like rabbits and spread out, bringing their tribal Muzzie ways of life elsewhere into our country.
If you mean compassion towards your own family stuck in MN, I may feel sorry for your particular situation. But too many people in MN vote solid Dem and bring these problems down on their own heads. I’m all compassioned out.

As for MN, it’s the ONLY state Reagan lost in 1984, the ONE and ONLY. That tells me they’ve been lost for a very very long time. Mondale is/was a bum so of course they voted for him. Sad
Actually the Ingalls family lived in Walnut Grove, MN from 1874 to 1876 before crop failures drove them away. There’s a museum dedicated to them there.
And yes, this state is polluted with liberals mainly in the big cities. I’m glad I live in a conservative county.
