If Israel were to nuke Iran back to the 7th century then aside from the radiation, would anybody notice a difference?
The good news is they have over 200.
The bad news comes in several parts:
One they have over 200 which means less than 300 and that many of these are MIRVed.
Two, this clearly does not include the neutron type of missiles and bombs that they have for potential istock.
Number Three, they have numerous neutron devices that they would more likely classify as tactical’s instead of nukes.
Four. Israel is not a member of the nuclear nonproliferation Treaties regarding such items and are free to classify them and count them anyway they choose or choose not to. Powell knows this.
I beg to differ.
This is an acknowledgement by a past SOS who was in a position to know, that Israel has 200 nukes. That's something Israel has never acknowledged and something the US Government is obligated to keep officially secret.
And such information is most certainly, when combined with a specific number, classified SECRET NOFORN inside the US Government.
Colin Powell is guilty of the same crime Clinton is.
I think that that have WAY more than 200. 200 Israeli nukes is the rough equivalent of 11 million illegals here - a very old, very rough figure that people can accept without too many questions.
Even Seymour Hersch said about 25 years ago that Israel had more, and Mordecai Vanunu (if you believe him) stated “about 400.”
Keep in mind that Israel has always viewed the Soviet Union/Russia as its prime enemy, since it arms and backs Israel’s neighbors. You aren’t going to deter the Arabs AND the Soviets with a couple dozen weapons, you need AT LEAST a couple hundred, so that at least 1/4 get through. That will give you the deterrence that you need to survive in Israel’s position.
I also remember a report by Dr. Martin Abend, a NY-area journalist (back when there was such a thing), around 1974 or 1975, in which he said that Israel had nukes targeted on EVERY major Arab city, some on the Soviets, and special nukes with Cobalt casings for the Saudi and Gulf States’ oil fields. Radioactive Cobalt has an exceptionally long half-life, so the goal was CLEARLY to render those fields unusable for a long time - which would throw the world into an instant depression that would likely lead to WW3...the unstated object being to force the US and the West to back Israel enough to not let it be destroyed. FYI, Abend was regularly used by the Israelis to release information that its diplomats couldn’t.
I’m betting that at this point, Israel also has weapons targeted, or at least reserved for, China and North Korea. Israel may lose millions in a war with many nations, but it won’t be for free.
