Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton returned to the campaign trail on Thursday, after having to miss several days due to pneumonia, and pledged that she would not step down from the race.
Speaking at an event in Greensboro, North Carolina, Clinton began by saying, Its great to be back!
I recently had a cough that turned out to be pneumonia. I tried to power through it, she added, but even I had to admit that a few days of rest would do me good.
Im not great at taking it easy even under ordinary circumstances, but with just two months to go until election day, sitting at home was pretty much the last place I wanted to be, said Clinton.
"I want you to think with me for a minute about how I certainly feel lucky when Im under the weather I can afford to take a few days off," she continued. "Millions of Americans cant."
The speech marked the first time Clinton appeared in public since she nearly fainted and was evacuated from a 9/11 memorial service in Manhattan on Sunday.
Clinton's doctor later revealed that she was suffering from pneumonia, with which she was diagnosed the previous Friday, and that the incident at the memorial was a result of dehydration and overheating.
On Wednesday, Clinton's campaign released an update on her medical information, including a statement from her physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, who stressed that Clinton remains healthy and fit to serve.

Her lapdog media is hailing her comeback.
Nothing she says or does will ever make them wander off the reservation.
Its like watching flushing water circle the drain.
Hillary’s handlers are probably frying their brains trying to figure out how to get her out of the debates without having her look like she is dodging the debates.
Somehow I don't think this is what they had in mind.
Exactly...I’m glad she’s not stepping down even Tho I’ve predicted she won’t make it as the DEM candidate...Best Election Ever...both parties exposed!

Millions of Americans can’t take a few days off? Days off are what millions of Americans have all the time. And if Hillary thinks that’s bad, it must be Obama’s fault.
Don’t you know he hates it when he hears her say stuff like that.
Bingo! I agree.
What a Heroine!!
She's Unstoppable !!
She's Unsinkable !!
Even Ted Kennedy would have had problems playing that game.
I'm sure she finds the campaign a trial. :)
This is the phrase they are desperately trying to get to catch fire among the easily impressionable. I have one acquaintance who has actually used it, providing additional (but unnecessary) proof that liberals are sock puppets.
But whether it's flu or pneumonia or dehydration or poison ivy, 'powering through it' and failing does not involve seizures, locked joints, shaking and a loss of consciousness. There is nothing to 'power through' when you've blacked out due to a neurological problem.
Another question: if Hillary was right as rain after a 1.5 hr lie down and a glass of water, why did she need the most recent 4 days completely off the grid?
And why is she wearing someone's knitted afghan?
She won’t step down. No, she’ll fall down.
Trial or trail I suspect Hillary will find help with the media.
She has collected hundreds of millions of dollars for favors owed. She would have dozens of "contracts" put out on her from her "friends" she betrayed...
LOL. I’d love to see The Donald’s face on a piece of US currency. They could rig it up to move holographically.
