I’m not sure what you’re driving at, but that sounds like the same rationale the amnesty people used to get us to accept the illegal invasion.

Moving us further away from personal responsibility is never a good thing - regardless of the perceived monetary benefits down the road.
And speaking of monetary benefits, if a Trump administration can rid us of onerous regulations (which is most of them)and reign in this hostile legal climate that’s choking us to death, the economy will expand at a tremendous rate. THAT is how we need to pay for SS, Medicare, etc., wouldn’t you agree?

Increases in societal wealth come from only one source - productivity increases.
Any gubermint giveaway program will be rife with fraud. Fraud does not increase productivity.
Just as in subsidizing college expenses, making more money available for child care will result in an increase in price for that service (even before new regulations get mandated).
Taxing productive people to subsidize less productive activities is a net loser (except in the vote buying category).
Remember when unemployment benefits were made taxable in 1992? With the high cutoff for Trump’s new program ($500k for a couple?), some poor schmuck who gets laid off from his $40,000 a year factory job will pay taxes on his unemployment benefits so the $500k couple can get a tax break to help pay for their nanny.
Having children IS personal responsibility. No children, no future: not for you, not for your nation, and not for your culture.
Irresponsible people NOT having children, is what brought Europe to the sad state where they think they need Turks and Syrians to carry on for another generation. And this has been going on for decades. How many “guest workers” has Germany imported since the 1950’s -— “guests” who were supposed to eventually go back to Turkey but never did?
Merkel and ALL her predecessors for three generations have thought they could build a German future without Germans. Oh my how advanced and intelligent they are. Sterile sex for childless idiots. And now the median-age Frau is past menopause. They’re at the end of their demographic rope -— and discovered it ends with a noose.
