I’m sure your Cocker-friend will be dearly missed, you have our condolences.
Lost our sweet Cairn Terrier, Roxie last February. She arrived on planet Earth in April 1998 so she was close to 18 yrs old.
She had CHF but fortunately enjoyed very good health on her medication up until just a week before she passed and died a peaceful, natural death in her bed. I still get pretty sad when I think about that, so I try to focus on the joy Roxie brought into our life for many years. Your home is not quite the same, no matter how long or short you have had a dog’s companionship when they are gone.
On Saturday we bring home a new girl, Pandee who is a tiny parti-color Morkie (sort of a Maltese and a Yorkie)— so the adventure begins again!
