Rex Harrison, my little guy, has passed at the age of 14.
An believable friendly little guy, for a Cocker Spaniel, he loved to give kisses, love and bring joy on even the worst day.
He was a funny dog who would, like a monkey, attempt to get the nits out of my hair. Never had a dog do that.
He was always patient, observant and wanted to whatever I wanted to do.
We called him Rex Harrison due to his black coat, with a streak of white in his chest and white paws...Like a tuxedo.
He was always quite the gentleman.
Pass on my friend and I will meet you in heaven one day...
Oh dear. He sounds like a gem of a fellow. Thank you for telling us about him. I’m so sorry.
I’m sorry for the loss of your wonderful friend. It hurts so bad, I know.
Dogs are Angels assigned by God to man.
RIP Rex...
The house has felt so empty ever since. I will give it a little time but I'm definitely getting another canine companion soon. Dogs are definitely man's best friend.
Hey, sorry Vendome. The little characters get under your skin don’t they. This will be tough for a while. Best wishes.

I tend to like most dogs better than most people.
Ah, I’m very sorry to hear that.
I truly believe dogs are a gift. You have to love them vigorously while they are here and cherish them when they are gone.
Rex was the name of the first dog I remember our family had.
I *loved* that show .. have them all archived on DVDs.
Never a good day to lose unconditional love. Condolences to a terrific pet owner.
Sorry to hear. Hope you are bearing it up.
So sorry for your loss. As a preteen, I had a red cocker named Jinx. Cockers are wonderful companions.
When the Man waked up he said, What is Wild Dog doing here? And the Woman said, His name is not Wild Dog any more, but the First Friend, because he will be our friend for always and always and always.' Rudyard Kipling
Very sorry for your loss. We have a little black Cocker as well. I love my dog more than I do most humans. They sure work their way into our hearts, no?
God bless.
Sorry Vendome, sounds like he was a good dog.
I’m going to go hug mine now.
I’m so sorry. The pain of losing a canine pal is horrible. There had better be dogs in heaven or a lot of us are going to be unhappy.
Take care of yourself during this difficult time, us fellow dog lovers will be sad with you.
So sorry for your loss. Our pets are truly missed as they are such a big part of our lives.
So very sorry, I know the pain, as we all do. But know you gave him a wonderful life and he gave you his all. Pure love and devotion. Prayers
I have lost my Little Man too, also a Cocker Spaniel, and I still haven’t gotten over it. One sees so few Cockers now, they are such cute little buddies, and I certainly understand your loss.
This one came in second to be the Chevy Super Bowl commercial for 2014. I can’t watch it without tearing up:
