I’m a former investigator for the DOD.

This is a MAJOR violation and would, at the very least, result in an investigation and the immediate suspension or revocation of the security clearance of the individual who allowed an uncleared person to have access to this information.

Additionally, any private company that stores DOD classified information must be cleared. That is, all the operating officers and any employee who has access to this information must pass a background investigation before being granted access.

None of this was done in the above matter.

Let me add to the above that there is no doubt that the Dept. of State has virtually the same rules for its employees and private contractors as does the Dept. of Defense.
