The same thing happened during the Republican primaries: the hatred and attacks on the “other than Trump” supporters was right out of Left field.

“Conservatives” eating their own. It turned me off to FR for a while.

But I thought that after Trump won, we could move on to attacking the real enemy. So I slowly made my way back to FR.

Cruzers can be very defensive. Their guy shows himself to be a traitor to virtually every "conservative" position he once held, including his ongoing help to Hillary, yet they persist in claiming he isn't doing something wrong. The real "Cruz card" is how far his fans go to defend the indefensible.

They are also the only ones who didn't notice just how far in the tank for Cruz Rush became, nor how poorly Rush has battled for Trump. He did better for both Romney and McCain. He's not a #nevertrumper, but some days he is a #mightaswellbenevertrmper

It's fine to disagree here, but it's really hard to make the claim that Rush didn't fully go into the tank for Cruz from February until well after Cruz dropped out. Although he's NOT a #nevertrumper, he has not been the warrior he once was for the conservative cause this time around, it shows in his somewhat tepid, and guarded support of Trump. Laura Ingraham, Hannity and others are the ones doing the best right now IMHO, far superior to Rush. It's why I listen a whole lot less than I used to.

There are plenty of Cruzers still here on FR (as opposed to Cruz supporters), just not nearly as many as there once were.
