Vietnam draft-dodging leftist Chris Matthews (and other libs) was a “proud member” of the Peace Corps. I’ve heard him say before that his work with them was as dangerous as fighting in Vietnam, so he has no regrets about not serving his country in Vietnam. I guess if he keeps repeating that lie often enough he’ll start believing it.
The Peace Corps become dangerous when the high-minded Americans insult the locals too often. After a couple of weeks the roll up your sleeves biz gets boring and it is more fun to goof off and convert your humble salary to the local currency and it suddenly becomes BIG MONEY.
Poor little Chris Matthews did not appreciate his paid vacation on behalf of the American taxpayers??!!
