I still haven’t seen any ads. What the hell is wrong with this campaign? When is the actual media blitz going to begin, December?

I think the 'beest is already on the ballot and the deadlines are past pretty much everywhere.

Just looked it up on Ballotpedia. Interesting. If you go by the laws in states that would be significant in this election, the deadline has already passed to get on the Presidential ballot in the following states:

Colorado, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Virginia.

I think it would be very messy to get a substitute on at the Presidential level at this point. For the 'beest to win the election for Soros and the DNC in absentia, she would have to win the majority of votes in most of those states above. Would that happen? It becomes a different race.

AND the DNC would have to win the legal struggles, both within those states and then at the Federal level, in order to have the Democratic votes transferred to someone the DNC decides to appoint in her place. Even Kaine isn't on the ballot as a Presidential candidate--only for VP.

Ballotpedia points out that there has been a sentiment at the state level in many past cases to make sure both parties are represented on the ballot with a viable candidate in November, even if it meant fudging some deadlines. But this isn't the state level. I'm sure a lot of these states would roll easily for the DNC--Massachusetts, say. But Trump's people would fight in state court and on the Federal Circuit level, and the Circuits are not all the same. The DNC would have to run the table at the polls and all the courts, in an election that's already going badly for them. The popular opposition to making an unprecedented do-over in honor of the 'beest's former candidacy would not be an easy sell.

This is genuinely a tough situation, and the longer she stays in, the worse it gets.

“I still haven’t seen any ads”

Team Trump made a pretty large ad buy a few weeks ago; depending on where you live, you should see them in a week, maybe less.

It is easier to change candidates than you think. It doesn’t matter who the people vote for, it’s who the electors vote for in December. Hillary could run until she drops dead. All the DNC needs to do is send a letter to the state’s elector delegation to have them vote for the replacement.

“it’s who the electors vote for in December”

Sounds right

You are overestimating Joe Biden. He’s a fool when he opens his mouth and he can’t keep it shut.

Trump is about to win in a landslide.

The media and #neverTrumps will spin it that he won only because Hillary was such a poor candidate. But that’s spin, not the truth. People that support Trump really like Trump, and want him as president.

Trump supporters for the most part are not going to say “I was going to vote Trump, but now that BIDEN is running, I’m voting for him”. Maybe a few weirdos will, but not near as many as the number of Bernie supporters who will resent Bernie being passed over yet again.

Trump will do fine against any democrat. They are all a third term of failed Obama presidency. If anything, Hillary might have picked up some low IQ women and snowflakes that want to see a woman president. Biden won’t even get those.

As for Biden’s high approval - that is because he’s not running, it would last about 10 seconds before it dropped down to realistic numbers if he actually announced.

Never say never, my own mother who was a nurse recovered from congestive heart failure and died many years later from cancer.

You are correct that with a very large sample size you should not say never. I will tell you however that I spent 25 years on a fire department attending to many “regulars” with Congestive Heart Failure I also spent many years volunteering at multilevel care facilities where my wife worked as a nurse and department head where I worked with many people who had Congestive Heart Failure. I do not know of one case where an elderly person recovered. It just does not happen in that age group. Hillary is going to get more and more decrepit, she is not fit to be commander and chief right now, and it is going to get worse.

Your mom was from your description diagnosed at a fairly young age, which meant that her congestive heart failure likely had a different cause than the elderly people that I came into contact with. For example, my father had rheumatic fever when he was a child which damaged the valves in his heart and gave him some difficulty when he was younger, but he had an active life style his heart became healthy again and was able to compensate for the valve damage. But that is a different thing all together from the likely causes of Hillary's problems.

Hillary could easily die of something unrelated to her congestive heart failure or her likely Parkinson's. Both of those diseases tend to be accompanied by other issues, and the medications often cause the body to break down quicker than the diseases themselves. She is a very sick person and it is becoming more and more obvious every day.

Another theoretical development could be that of
replacing Hillary with Bill. Might not be legal but Rats
would not care about that.

No, but it WILL motivate many more dummycrats to get out and vote - many more than are motivated now to vote for Hitlery.

Trump is about to win in a landslide.

Which is precisely why they are starting to panic and look at alternatives. You understand that they have done this before, right?

Ultimately, I hope I'm wrong. Really, I hope Hitlery is there on election day. If she is, she WILL lose in a landslide. I believe, however, that the left will pull anything to get their candidate elected, and their efforts have a better chance to succeed without Hitlery.

Maybe. But Biden represents the Oligarchy status quo. I don’t think there will be a huge amount of Bidenthusiasm.

Trump’s landslide does not depend on Hillary at this point.

I’d welcome a last minute switch to Biden or whoever they think SHOULD have been their nominee, just to take away their post landslide talking point - that Trump’s landslide was not because of Trump, it’s just that Hillary was a failed candidate. Therefore Trump has no mandate.

They tried that with Reagan - they said his landslides were only because Carter and Mondale were terrible candidates. They said there was no Reagan mandate.

Believe me, Trump has genuine support - it’s not hold your nose and vote Trump because there are no good choices.

That’s just what they want you to believe.

Hell, I wish there was another Kennedy brother they could run just so Trump’s victory could be sweeter, and they wouldn’t have all sorts of excuses for why they lost. I want a mandate.

As I posted on another thread regarding this issue:

I see a lot of folks here saying "This will NEVER happen" and "They can't do that" and "There's no way" and "It's too late", but the hard truth of the matter is, in politics, NOTHING is guaranteed. I recall a point in time when many of us were absolutely certain the SCOTUS would shoot down obunghole care, because it was absolutely, positively UN-Constitutional. It still is today, mind you, but that hasn't stopped the lawlessness of the DNC and this administration, which has repeatedly ignored the Constitution. As you point out, so long as the Republicans refuse to fight back, the Constitution really has no teeth.

This is more or less uncharted territory, and I really think we need to be prepared for the chance of a last minute Biden candidacy, and the implications that come with it. We can say all we want all the different things that will make it not possible, but guaranteed, the dummycracts WILL FIGHT, and the GOP WILL ROLL OVER for them. In all reality, none of us has any true idea of what could really come from this whole fiasco, if a Clinton resignation did come into play.

Hitlery IS a terrible candidate. America WANTS another Clinton like they want another hole in the head. She's too far left for the mainstream, and not far enough left for most of the leftist radicals. No matter how you slice or dice it, she is likely the WORST candidate they could have elected. The ONLY reason she is in it at this point is because, as many have pointed out here, it is simply "HER TURN".

Believe me, Trump has genuine support - it’s not hold your nose and vote Trump because there are no good choices.

I completely agree with this statement as well. This, coupled with the fact that Hitlery is a horrid candidate, will produce a Trump landslide. Now, throw in another candidate - one that hasn't been put through the wringer over the last year and doesn't come with nearly the baggage of a potential Clinton presidency - and there are too many things that will factor in, including:

1. Whoever they choose will NOT be Clinton. This will motivate SOME, who just can't bring themselves to vote for Hitlery, to change their minds and get out and vote.

2. The closer to the election the change happens, the less time Trump has to campaign against whoever it is. One of Trump's successful strategies has been to 'brand' his opponents (little marco, lyin' ted, low energy jeb, crooked hillary). This was fairly quick to happen in the primaries, however, it took a little longer with Hitlery. If someone else were dropped in at the last moment, there wouldn't be nearly the time required to get something like that to stick.

3. Whoever the replacement, they would come into the race with much higher likeability and approval rates. This may drop, but as with any race, those #'s do take time, even with someone as horrible as Hitlery, to drop. Timing would be key in naming a replacement.

I agree that Trump has genuine support. There is no doubt in my mind about that. And he may still win in the face of a candidate change on the left, but I think it will be a tougher battle, for the reasons above and some that may come out of left field, so to speak. I think it would be dangerous to accept anything less.

I am very glad that your mother was able to either recover or live with her congestive heart failure. There are many possibilities as to why she was able to live for a long time after being diagnosed. Most people are not as lucky.
