Denver Broncos' Brandon Marshall gets dropped by sponsor for anthem protestEXCELLENT news.
Teams can't fire the players but sponsors have NO such responsibility. THAT will hurt those players in their most TENDER spot: their pocketbook.
If he doesn't know to stand at our anthem then he is un-American.
In fact, I ALWAYS stand at every country's anthem if I am present at the event. It's just a show of respect.

It gives me great pleasure to see these folks that hate our nation lose some of the perks of living in it.

We wish Brandon well on his future endeavors," the company said.
There was no need to add that remark.

Maybe they think they can ride out the storm If the anti-Americans are kicked out immediately, yes.
I don't see that. In fact, the phenomenon of millionaire America-haters seems to be spreading.

“NFL is toast

I have a friend who works in the NFL executive offices. He tells me that the league higher ups are very afraid that there will be some sort of in-game black vs. white incident(s). He also said that there have already been incidents in locker rooms and on the practice field that they have been able to keep the lid on, so far....
