The sad thing is that Joe, Mika, and Deutsch used to be friends of Trump’s. That just goes to show how quickly “friends” will toss their friends under the bus to protect their favorite leftist policies and politicians.
Mika was the one who made that particular asinine statement. She’s probably just still resentful that Trump tweeted about her affair with Joe and called her “neurotic,” which she certainly appears to be (either that or she’s simply vacuous, but there’s something not quite right about her).
Mika is all that as well as a tired old joke. She and Joe are perfect soulmates.
Again, and I will keep saying this until I die, people need to stop posting this crap. The only people who watch this damn show are other media types that write these articles.

Trump respects Putin because he stands up and rigorously fights for his country. He puts HIS country first(the antithesis of Obama).
Nobdody seems to articulate this simple fact.
I hope when Trump wins he puts out a statement that he will not attend the White House correspondents dinner or any of the other sophomoric “roasts” and media navel gazings.

So do Kim Jong Un and Robert Mugabe. If Trump wants to talk about strong leaders he respects and admires then he should be talking about Ronald Reagan or Margaret Thatcher or Konrad Adenaeur. His admiration of Putin is just going to send the wrong message, both during the campaign and after Trump's elected.

Admiring a leaders committment to his country and people(that’s not freaking insane or genocidal as the two examples you gave) is understandable.
Personally I’d take Putin over Obama all day long.
