Trump won. Hillary was a mess w/ regard to her emails, Libya, and snapping on Matt Lauer. I’d single one thing out but felt she was a mess the whole time.

Trump was okay, although CNN decided to nearly completely ignore Hillary’s shoddy performance and focus on Trump. Things they picked out and went on and on about for hours (literally):

1. Trump praised Putin. (Trump knows they are trying to tie him to Russia. He and his team need to come up with better answers when asked about Putin. That won’t work in the debate.)

2. A Tweet he made about women in the military and rape. They tried to make it sound like he was anti-woman. No, you dolts, if anything he was anti-men. The women aren’t raping the men. He then wants to prosecute the rapist. I don’t speak social justice warrior, so the things they get upset about sometimes amaze me.

3. The line he made about the generals being reduced to rubble got play. I think I know what he meant about how Obama’s decisions and ROE’s have hampered them, but the media has seized on the line as him attacking our generals. I knew when he said it what was coming. Personally, I wish he hadn’t worded it that way.

4. Trump talked about how it seems our Administration isn’t following the intelligence briefings. Media outraged, claiming that intelligence briefings are given without the opinion of intelligence officers. I’m assuming Trump is getting briefings where he hears the state of the world, sees what should be done based on it, and sees our Administration not making what he sees as clear decisions based on the intelligence. He himself admitted, if you paid attention to his answer, that they gave an opinion. He said he read their body language, and they didn’t seem happy.

All in all, I do hope Trump preps for the debate well because with substantive answers, she is beatable. I know the media praises her as a policy wonk (who doesn’t know what “c” means) and she can debate well based on what I saw with Bernie and Obama (not based on what I saw tonight), but I think Trump can beat her with his style and with a firm grasp of policy.

Oops!

“He himself admitted, if you paid attention to his answer, that they gave an opinion.”

DISREGARD!

It should be:

He himself admitted, if you paid attention to his answer, that THEY DIDN’T GIVE AN OPINION.

Hasn’t Barry admitted to not receiving most of the in person briefings offered—and having them only leave a written document for him?
