He's NOT a #nevertrumper.
However, he DID go into the tank for Cruz, plus he went against his own maxim to not damage anyone who might become the nominee for those two plus months of tanking, he DID try to damage Trump and with some he succeeded..
He made a mistake, and he was quite wrong to do so. I had to stop listening for a while, it was so bad.
Since Cruz bowed out, he is making one more mistake: He simply isn't giving a full throated endorsement to Trump as he did to Bush, McCain, and Romney.
I'm not certain what has happened, perhaps he's aging, perhaps he's not as good as he once was, but one thing for sure: He's no longer the warrior conservatives need right now. I hope that changes.

Perhaps it is age. I think also his interest is wandering - he clearly loves talking about technology and less about sports and politics. It’s natural as we age to develop new interests. He’s also made his bones, made his money, and perhaps wants to move to California and play golf. Nothing wrong with that at all. I will listen today and hope he’s in the bag for Trump. I live in hope and refuse to die in despair!
