The Dallas Morning News on Wednesday endorsed Hillary Clinton, backing a Democratic presidential hopeful for the first time since FDR.
There is only one serious candidate on the presidential ballot in November: We recommend Hillary Clinton, the papers editorial board declared.
We dont come to this decision easily. This newspaper has not recommended a Democrat for this nations highest since before World War II if youre counting, thats more than 75 years and nearly 20 elections.
The newspaper touted Clintons government experience and said shes demonstrated an ability to work with Republicans.
Resume vs. resume, judgment vs. judgment, this election is no contest, the paper said of Clinton in comparison to GOP nominee Donald Trump.

In this case "an ability to work with Republicans" means a willingness to sell the favors of high political office to the highest bidder, even if it is a Republican.
The newspaper is right about one thing, though. Resume vs. resume, judgment vs. judgment, this election is no contest. Just not in the way it intended
