The only problem is that the Republican wing of that bipartisan policy position doesn’t understand that cheap labor is only for the short run. Power stems from having a majority, and the Dems are a far more realistic and patient party. They’ll let the Capitalists exploit the foreign workers for a few decades, so long as those foreigners become voting citizens and give them ultimate power. Then the Dems will dispose of the Capitalists. Its happened before, rest assured that it will happen again.
