And to think...I didn’t sleep with Roger Ailes for free....boy was I stupid.
Two separate issues.
The Vets should be supported by the US government and the taxpayers, this settlement is coming out of the pockets of News Corps. public shareholders. If you can’t understand the difference with being a publicly-traded corporation and all the extra responsibilities that contains as far as these employee-related behaviors are concerned I can’t help you.
If the public apology is true that pretty much sums up the whole thing right there.
I don’t think she was worth it. She was awful. However, 20M is peanuts for Fox News.
My son is a Newscorp employee (not Fox news but another branch) and apparently Ailes’ predilections were an open secret.
I would allow Ailes to harass me for 20 mil.
She and Greta signed a contract at MSNBC.
Andrea, Gretchen, Maria, Greta, Anna....
Ailes should be in jail. He is a sexual predator.
Based on the available evidence maybe so but since it is only he said she said then under the same criteria why is Bill Clinton still around????
It’s not he said/she said if Fox feels the need to offer a public apology.
This doesn’t settle this quickly unless there are witnesses and hard evidence in the form of recordings.

In the world of TV news, NBC Today co-anchor Matt Lauer leads the way, drawing an estimated $22-25 million every year. The highest-paid anchor on ABC News is ABC World News anchor Diane Sawyer, who pulls in an estimated $12 million a year, while CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley leads that network with $5 million a year.
On cable, Fox News host Bill OReilly is king, drawing an estimated $17 million a year, while MSNBCs Rachel Maddow leads her channel with a $7 million a year deal. CNNs Anderson Cooper tops that channel with an estimated $10 million a year deal.
Other notable names: Megyn Kellys new deal is estimated to be worth $6 million a year, twice what Hoda Kotb draws, and more than three times as much as ABCs Josh Elliott. Ann Curry is still one of the highest-paid reporters at NBC, drawing $5 million a year, while Sarah Palins new FNC contract is believed to be in the $250,000 range.
What the hell did Ailes do? Pat her on the butt?
Depended on Ailes stamina and the little blue pills.
Read up on the issue a little, you’re not doing yourself any favors with that comment.
“I would allow Ailes to harass me for 20 mil.”

Socialite: “My goodness, Mr. Churchill... Well, I suppose... we would have to discuss terms, of course... “
Churchill: “Would you sleep with me for five pounds?”
Socialite: “Mr. Churchill, what kind of woman do you think I am?!”
Churchill: “Madam, we’ve already established that. Now we are haggling about the price
