we can only wonder if the difference was
because of the 40 years time passing
or
because Nixon was an R
maybe both, but I still think the overall morality of USA and especially government has deteriorated badly in those 40 years
Yes, all of that plays into it.
And the Coup of 2008 compromised every aspect of government, media, business, education, finances, and the legal system in the US at all levels of government.
That’s why everything feels like it’s in the crapper. It really and truly is.
