I was thinking that Greece would simply not pay back their debts to cover it. What are the Germans going to do about it? Repo the place? Oh, wait...

I'm sure Merkel's pals, the Turks, would be more than happy to oblige.

It’s all about Guilt in the modern world.

Proving that you care to such an extent that you are prepared to attempt to convince the majority of others that if they don’t share in the their “Suffering”, they don’t really care.

“La La La LA LA La La LA LA La”

the more it shows you Really Care”

>>Hmmm...the last time this happened, the Germans flooded Greece with...Germans!
>>That didn’t go well for Germany either.

Umm.. the last time that happened, Germany took all of mainland Greece in around 20 days, with minimal casualties. It went just fine for the Germans (except on Crete) until those pesky Americans and British pushed them out a few years later.

In an upthread post I asked what will happen if the Greeks refuse to admit the refugees back into Greece?

I guess no one, including me, has an answer...at least so far.

The Greeks might smile and just say fine....but there’s a fee....50,000 Euro a year for each person delivered. The Germans will say no way, and this whole thing ends very quietly.
