Great find RG. The good news is nobody is believing anything Old Media is saying and have discounted their words completely. Most get their news from the internet which has all versions of reporting.
You are right.A good friend of mine got fired last week at the Miami Herald.
He was the fishing writer but he was free lance. To save a buck or two the Herald canned all sports freelancers. His column had only been there for 40 or 50 years and reported on a multi billion dollar industry in S. Fla.
fishing, boating etc. Our industry's tentacles are endless. We buy boats, cars, houses, rent stuff, by equipment, we make bowling or golf look miniature.
The Herald already admits internally that they will stop printing one day and everything will be on the web.
