Here’s the sad news onthe debate moderators,we lost. All are losers
............
This year’s three presidential debates will be moderated by NBC’s Lester Holt, CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Martha Raddatz, and Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace.
The vice presidential debate moderator is Elaine Quijano of CBS News.
Holt, the anchor of the NBC Nightly News, will lead the first debate, which is set to take place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, on September 26.
Cooper and Raddatz will co-moderate the second debate, which will be a town-hall style event at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri on October 9.
Wallace will moderate the third and final presidential debate at University of Nevada in Las Vegas on October 19.
That's why I don't watch in real time. I record all the shows and FF through the crap. Why would anyone with a functional brain sit through a pile of Flake crap...
Fish -what a GREAT idea you have to help these animals!
I work with several rescues. It is a very hard thing to see so many homeless and helpless animals.
Martha raddish now talking about war games will she show this one:

At this stage, I doubt it, given his dislike for TV and pre-planning and coordinating every detail. Unless he’s planning on a cable channel to simply simulcast his show. On the other hand, as long as he’s breathing I can’t imagine him without some form of outlet.
We have 300,000 anchor babies born each year to illegal aliens. They represent about one in every 12 births in this country. I am sure they are all "cutie pies." More than likely, the costs for his birth were covered under Medicaid and the child is now receiving food stamps. The taxpayers also pick up their education costs.
In fact, Diane Feinstein, not a particularly political person, ranted about any notion to send Beelow back to Ecuador while leaving his son here.
His son can return with him Under the law, unless there is a guardian appointed for the child, the child will be deported with the parents, even if the child is a US citizen.
What Trump ought to do, and I say this as one who has seen well-meaning and hard-working immigrants from BOTH sides of the issue, is create deportation zones, right here in America, where the Beelows can go to report their existence, obtain temporary visas or green cards, then be put in line for citizenship behind those already legally waiting.
Pure sophistry. The line begins in their home countries. Being allowed to stay and work here is amnesty. Why should someone who has flaunted our laws multiple times be allowed to be a citizen? How is this fair to the 4 million intending immigrants who have completed all the paperwork and background checks and are waiting their turn to enter the country.
Those, like Beelow, well-meaning perhaps, who do NOT report to the deportation zones get....DEPORTED! Literally.
Well meaning? They are lawbreakers. When you reward something, you get more of it.
You watch people. We will not literally deport over eleven million people but if Trump gets elected, they will be dealt with, humanely and fairly.
Some estimates are that there are up to 30 million illegal aliens. In 1986 we had a "one-time" amnesty. The proponents said there would never be another one. The USG estimated 1 million would apply, but the true number turned out to be 2.7 million. There was a huge surge of illegals after the law was passed despite the fact that you had to be here 5 years to apply. The process was rife with fraud. Document mills were set up within blocks of the processing centers. We now have 12 to 30 million lawbreakers and the call is for another amnesty. I guess we will start enforcing the law after they are legalized. Or we can prepare for a third amnesty.
There are an estimated 2 million criminal aliens. Subtract those from the "11 million." 40% of the lawbreakers came here legally and overstayed their visas. Since this a clear violation of their visa agreement, subtract another 4.4 million.
Trump said we would enforce the law first and then see what remains behind. The vast majority of these lawbreakers couldn't even qualify for a tourist visa, let alone a permanent immigrant visa. The costs of amnesty are enormous. Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation estimated the costs at $6.3 trillion if there are only 12 million lawbreakers. This doesn't include the tens of millions of their relatives who will come here under chain migration, i.e., family reunification.
Meanwhile, as the Beelows wait in line for citizenship, they must renew their green cards, follow the law, pay taxes, learn English.....or?
They are not waiting in line. They are living in the US and working illegally. Pay taxes? Most will qualify for EITC. We will be paying them.
Hey, people, we bought this crap unto our selves but I do think we can fix it fairly.
You keep pushing this ridiculous narrative. I guess if you left the front door open and someone came in a robbed you, it is your fault and the robber should not be held accountable under the laws.
We are either a nation of laws or we are not.
So I feel the need to step forward and defend Rush!
I been reading, on this board, lots of nonsense about Rush. Although I do understand that mileages vary.
And to establish my credentials, you can count on the fingers of one hand how many Rush shows I missed last year.
I will concur that, initially, Rush was a bit laid back about Trump. I got the distinct impression he was a Cruz guy.
But Rush never said bad things about Trump. In fact, Rush defended and explained Trump more than he used mockery and sarcasm.
Check into Mark Levin, a guy I used to adore but have shut out completely because Levin was very obvious in his dislike and mockery of Trump.
also, let me add, Glen Beck really turned out to be a nut.
So it’s not like I don’t listen to these radio shows because on any given day I listen to five to six hours of radio broadcasts, which includes three hours of Rush.
I don’t know what folks who disparage Rush want the man to do. HE explains “Trumpisms” in a very spot on way. By me he’s very supportive of Trump but don’t forget, Rush walks a very tricky road. If he appears to be in the pocket of a politician he loses listeners.
If he kissy cheeks Trump too awful much it would not look all that good for a radio personality.
To sum up, I don’t get this sudden dislike of Rush.
I do for Mark Levin, silly man. Glen Beck just makes me smirk. Ann Coulter is notorious for looking at her bread to determine which side is buttered. She has determined the bread is buttered on the Trump side but I am okay with that.
Sean Hannity has never wavered in Trump devotion and I’ll allow that you don’t get Trump love out of Rush quite as much as Hannity (some would say it’s a little too much).
But I do think that Rush very much supports Trump. If nothing else, Rush does not want to see Hillary win!
Haven’t listened to Rush or Levin in quite some time. I scan Rush’s site from time to time and read the transcript now and then (I’m not a subscriber, so have to do it the day after the broadcast). I used to really like Beck’s magnetic boards - he had a really good one with all of Jarrett and Obama’s connections in Chicago, but quit him long ago. Too bad he seem to transform into something almost unbelievable - he appears to be a very troubled man, just based on comments I’ve read that he’s made.
I know I’m not the only one that has tuned out. I don’t think I’d watch the TV show of any of them and I suspect I’m not alone. I don’t watch Hannity every night, but often. He used to have Levin on from time to time and he’s not been on in quite some time as far as I know. They used to be good friends. Wonder if Levin’s rants and Hannity’s support of Trump has changed that.
Can you be more specific? What was the topic? And what was said? TY!
I only watch certain shows on Fox News. I agree about Fox Biz - Stuart Varney and Lou Dobbs are great. I’ve seen Trish Regan filling in for them and others and she’s pretty good, too. Only watch her Sunday show, but I like Maria B.
I’m with you....I detect no dislike of Trump, other than what we all see from time to time from a guy who is not a politician, nor a died in the wool conservative.
They are more concerned about having someone in the WH who can upset their globalist apple cart. There are trillions of dollars involved along with power and control. The internet and social media are threats that must be harnessed under their control. We are seeing how government wants more controls over the Internet including the surveillance of the users. And outfits like Google, Twitter, and Facebook are exercising political censorship on behalf of the Dems. Snowden was not far off in describing it a turnkey tyranny. We are rapidly developing the technology to create a real Brave New World.
Wallace failed to ask Meeks about the impact of immigration on jobs for blacks. Very telling for this future moderator. You can bet that Wallace will reflect Murdoch’s immigration views when he questions Trump. The fix is in.
I saw those and got ill. I know that Trump said that he would look at who moderators were going to be, etc., but I don’t think he had a say in it (don’t think Reince did either). From what I’ve read, it was decided by the election commission, doesn’t seem to be one conservative in the group.
Posting for those that haven’t seen it:
What A Surprise, Liberal Moderators Again!

Actually cousin Mike (and you know you are LOSING THIS ARGUMENT in terms of public perception?) if I left my door wide open and got robbed....well of course I wouldn’t think the robber should go free but put on the common sense cap and quit with the endless graphics. I doubt many would feel sorry for the crime committed against me and not too many more would blame the robber.
If everyone on my block left their doors wide open for whatever reason, and suddenly a bunch of robbers moved in and began robbing, why no one would be too surprised.
IF everyone in my community left their doors wide open and advertised it as a “robber enabled community”, well those people in the community would come off as rather stupid.
Now someday the doors will be closed and the robbers will be caught. I suppose they should be punished for their crime but recall the open doors and sanctuary communities and things take a different slant.
If Beelow’s son can be deported, as I always thought someone born in America is American but I do know the Supreme court is involved in this....well okay. Whatever the reason, most people not addicted to graphics would agree the child should not separated from his parents. If the plan is to deport Beelow, then sending his son along would probably be the right thing to do.
I can see the sight byte now. Cutie by Jaden screaming as his American relatives and friends plead with the big bad ICE agent to leave Beelow and Jaden.....
.....it’s not going to happen. It’s NOT.
No matter how many graphics you put up.
My quick and dirty synopsis is probably how it’s going to come down.
Because you get one visual of little Jaden crying whether his parents are leaving him or he is being forced to go with his parents.....the Dems will ascend to power and no Republican will ever get elected again.
The live, die and breathe on emotional sight bytes.
We in this country have to take blame for setting up and advertising sanctuary cities, for not bothering to deport those known to be here illegally, for not even bothering to use Everify which is easy as hell to use, I did it for nine years.
It ain’t going to involve sending back 30 million (thirty million....heh, why not just invent numbers?) to their countries.
Just not going to happen.
Martha should have asked where are the votes for Trump? Can and how will Trump overcome the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh Dem vote?
I agree. And, let us not forget the DC cocktail parties and all of the parties and concerts that Obummer had - Hillary, if elected, would probably do the same (with a different choice of musicians) and have a bucket by the door for donations. They could also go back to what they used to do, such as selling overnights in the Lincoln Bedroom.
Just caught the end of group discussion where everyone got a laugh about Trumps ability or lack of reading to prepare for debates. Including the “impartial” moderator Martha R
Disgusting!
