John McCain wins his primary, promptly gives up on Donald Trump
Washington Post ^

Posted on 09/02/2016 1:45:31 PM PDT by detective

Literally one day after winning his primary, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) gave up on Donald Trump. In fact, McCain now sounds a bit like he's betting on Trump losing — or, at least, looking like a loser for the rest of the campaign season — to help him win a sixth term in the Senate.

In a gauzy, five-minute YouTube video released Wednesday, McCain looks directly at the camera and says: "My opponent, Representative Ann Kirkpatrick, is a good person. But if Hillary Clinton is elected president, Arizona will need a senator who will act as a check — not a rubber stamp — for the White House."

McCain would be a more reliable supporter of Herself than the Democrat running opposed to him. And what the heck, maybe his old buddy Russ Feingold of Wisconsin will claw his way back into the Senate, and they can pair up for all kinds of new ways to throttle the last of the liberties that the inhabitants of that territory once known as “the United States of America” still enjoy.

Arizona is certainly not doing the rest of the country any favors. McCain will be a thorn in Trump’s side.

Your response will be repeated, should Hillary Clinton be elected as the next POTUS. Voter fraud is going to be very bad, on November 8, and the fix is in for HILLARY! I want to be proven wrong on this, please.

You know, douchebags like McCain (who I VOTED FOR), don't like Trump. Why? I don't know. Trump stands for ENFORCING laws. SECURING borders. Keeping criminals out. Who in their right mind would be against that?

Something called “constituent services” works very well for incumbents. And by calling attention to all the “assists” the Senator provides to the majority of those who had supported him in past terms, the myth is perpetuated that “he brings home the bacon”.

Still pork-barrel politics and rewarding of cronies.

Flake and McSally and a coupler of others are Cheap Labor Express stooges, too.
AZ loves them as much as SC does.

From what I’ve heard, the democrats in AZ know they are going to lose to republicans because it is a red state.

So they scheme to crossover and vote for McCain because they know McCain is as good a democrat as he pretends to be a republican (a RINO). They would rather have McCain than any of the more conservative candidates running against him.

Because he is so tied to the establishment, he gets funded 10 to 1 over any primary opponent and the funds are used to attack his opponents and build up his image among voters.

Between the democrat crossovers and the enormous edge in funding, it is practically impossible to get rid of McCain.

John McCain is treating the 2016 election as if it is all about John McCain, not the nation or his state of AZ. I am not going to give this arrogant man my vote in December, I will write in another name.....Arizonians for Trump should do the same. If we lose McCain's senate seat, so be it...he is a RINO any way.....

“Clinton and McCain are both crooked”

And both are probably equally responsible for the creation and success of ISIS as are others in the Uni-party.

Suckers of the Muslim Racist in Chief all.

McCain is dependent on the establishment.

he is a family aristocrat son, mooching his office based on family not merit.

If the establishment falls, McCain falls.

The media is the establishment, this is why establishment types like oreily, Kelly, cnn, and msnbc are in the soup with him.

It was an open primary and that is how McCain survives. If it was a closed primary as our presidential preference primary was it probably would be a much different story. He is much despised by most Republicans here. That is why when Senator Sessions mentioned McCain at the Trump rally Wednesday night the boos were so loud. I think his time may be up in November though. All those crossover votes in the primary may be going to Ann Kirkpatrick.

I’m sorry to have to say this, but Capt. Queeg is senile, and AZ Publican voters are not paying attention.

The AZ know-nothing voters screw the pooch, YET AGAIN.

This is really tiresome and discouraging. Same goes for those who re-elect Linda Graham every 6 years.

This indicates (as also in the case of re-election of Bath House) that the voters are ultimately to blame for the tyrannical, renegade politicians.

SCREW THE IDIOTIC US VOTERS!!!!

You can bet your last dollar, that should (by some miracle) Trump be elected, that Juan MexiCain will fight Trump’s agenda with tooth and nail, as will all the RINO eGOPs.
