Hillary Clinton couldn’t be bothered about digital security when she was secretary of state and didn’t even realize that a “(C)” marking in emails denoted classified information, according to notes of the FBI interview with her in July.
The agency released 58 pages of its 3½-hour interview about her private email server and they showed Clinton was slow to embrace technology and didn’t pay attention to various levels of government security classification.
Among the more startling things to emerge from the notes was that in 2009, Clinton still did not have a personal computer in her office at the White House or her home in Chappaqua.

So when she said nothing was marked “classified”, she was actually telling the truth! It was marked with any of the classified categories, but not the literal word “classified.”
And no one challenged her parsing, nor her intent to circumvent safe handling of classified information. And now we learn she “lost” a couple of phones, and transmitted classified info after leaving the SOS position! Lock Her Up!
We need a new FBI. One that is not headed by Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, and Cheryl Mills’ law partner..........

I agree that she seized upon the weasel-word classified because nothing is ever marked classified!
And her brother in law didn’t know what the legal limit was for drunk driving in California. He was put in jail and cited, she walked.

Depends on the context, and I worked in classified IT up through last year, but whether confidential or classified, it still means “don’t send outside of special access channels, don’t share with the uncleared, for the love of God, don’t put it on an unprotected server where it could be read by anyone or sent to enemies on purpose so you could make money”.
My memory says that (C) before a paragraph represents “Confidential”. That (S) represents “Secret”. That (TS) represents “Top Secret”.

You are correct. The (C) stands for CONFIDENTIAL when used to mark a paragraph. Confidential documents would also be marked with the full CONFIDENTIAL at the top and bottom of the page.
The other common marking are SCI which refers to Sensitive Compartmented Information and NOFORN meaning U.S. only and not to be shared with foreign governments or personnel.
Hillary certainly knows this. But Trump should beat her over the head with it anyway. (Pun definetly intended.) She is either too stupid or too brain damaged to understand classification markings. Take your choice Hillary.

As one who has held those types of clearances, there is no way she did not remember the extensive briefings required to gain access.
Well, remember when they asked if she wiped her server clean she said “You mean with a cloth?” and motioned her hand back and forth. She was dead serious, that’s how dumb she thinks the average American is, and it appears, she’s got good reason because around 47% hang on her every word.
