It is imperative that schools not only teach students to "Pledge Allegiance to our Flag" but in doing so they stand with respect to that flag. Once this is learned, might it be suggested they are also taught the word's of the Lord's Prayer. As a young student, back in the fifties, the teacher wrote these words on the blackboard for those who had difficulty with memorizing the words. This was repeated every day, along with the Pledge. Did it make a difference? You be the judge.

I have a question for them. If it’s wrong to teach kids that America is great, despite the fact that we’ve made our share of mistakes, then how is it any less wrong to teach kids that America is horrible when we’ve done more than our share of things right?
Let’s concede for the sake of argument that it IS brainwashing. How is it wrong to brainwash kids into having pride in their country, but it’s okay to brainwash them into hating it?

They used to teach American History. They really don’t anymore .. and the only mention of the USA is how we treated slaves.
We should start with the Rush Limbaugh books - there is a set of 4 - and they’re awesome. When children give book reports on Rush’s books; they always get an A+.
A lot of home school parents are now using the Rush books.
