Hannity is a tool and not a friend of FR.
But politics is about what's possible, and further amending the Consitution is all but impossible now in our deeply divided country. It has only happened twice in my lifetime, and the last one took over 200 years to be ratified!
For me, it's not about aligning around my principles, it's about aligning around my goals.
I can tolerate a less principled candidate as long as I think he's best positioned to achieve my goals. Of course, there is a minimum principles line I won't cross, but I don't think that Trump is anywhere near that line. But we have to win the election first for any of it to matter.
I know Levin wants to live up to ideological principles, but he also has to figure out how he's willing to trade off adherence to principles with alignment of goals.
And the goal is to keep Hillary Clinton out of the White House.

Levin may be on our side, but what good does it to have an ally that joins the enemy ranks when the penultimate battle has commenced? All because his guy got trounced. If Cruz had dropped out early or not run, Mark would still be in our foxhole, not lobbing grenades in ours.
After some harsh, pointed (and well deserved) criticisms of liberal hacks McCain and Romney during the primary, did Mark then ally with the Obama camp for the general election? Hell no he didn’t.
A lot of people we thought were on our side have shown their true colors. That includes Mark Levin.
I regret I ever bought any of his books, but will not make that mistake again. Nor will I waste time listening to him.
Your sore loser Cruzer rage is dripping from every post. Suck it up, buttercup. Primary of over.
Thank you, I needed the reminder.....
THANK YOU Jim! I haven’t had a chance to listen lately, but I still love Levin and his knowledge and expression of our Constitutional values. His opinions on the election are his own. Everybody has pretty much made up their mind anyway, on the conservative side. You’re right; if somebody doesn’t like him, then just don’t listen.
I listened to that too . Hannity said it best .
I cannot listen to Levin for now. Let Trump win, then Levin will have to adapt.
Check out Lou Dobbs on Fox Business, too. He is very supportive of Trump and regaining control of our immigration system.
And a short-term friend and supporter of Hillary Clinton...
Thank you Jim.
I feel like we have been scorned in a way, we didn't leave Mark, Beck etc, they left us. Can we forgive? Ya. But when are they coming back.
It is a feeling of betrayal, we believed in them and the cause, yet when the candidate is not 100% and really kind of different, they go south on us. Or.... Was it all for cash flow, ego, connections, and being part of the GOP ( Rush for sure and his closeness with the Bushes ). That is what has me flummoxed, who are they really now...
FWIW, Trump IMHO might be a better POTUS then any of us hoped for. Rough around the edges? Oh ya, I'll tell you in private....
I used to enjoy John Bachelor on ksfo - then they pulled him.
I liked that he covered a lot of different topics and regions of the world.
His delivery reminded me a bit of John Mclaughlin.
Levin, Beck, Limbaugh & others believe, should Trump lose, the Republican party can be rebuilt in 4 yrs without the populist element that has driven this election. Nothing could be further from the truth. Should they successfully sabotage Trump they will have halved the party with ppl like me never to return.
It should be crystal clear to every rational person that the never-Trumpers like Levin, Beck, Rush, Loesh, Erickson, nro etc are champions of the kabuki party in the district of corruption.
They are gas-lighters, pressure valves to keep real Americans sedated while this marxist muslim coup is being solidified.
They are Hillary supporters. Their careers are over.
Levin is wrong on trade as well. Cheaper crappy goods brought to us by the globalists can be shown to have economic benefit. But they ignore costs of the erosion of our culture, manufacturing base, innovation and competition. The wage competition is a race to the bottom, decimating wage growth alongside the middle class. Even high tech industries, bringing H1B workers, has had incalculable costs on our American culture and pipeline of native student’s desire to pursue studies in math, science, engineering and computers.
Those guys are double-fools because the Democrats clearly have a permanent majority plan in play. If Hillary wins she’ll finish implementing it, and Democrats won’t lose another election till the sun goes supernova.
I listen on line, and he has podcast, but getting to run is kinda funky, you may have to get a login @ his site and then the run....
