Do they understand just how many cartridges are sold every year? There's not room on the bullet to stamp the number.

Take .22 long rifle ammo as an example. Annual production is estimated at is estimated at 2–2.5 billion rounds. And the .22 LR bullet is quite small. Most are only copper washed or plain lead.
