Over at The Guardian yesterday, the comments were about how the name “Weiner” must have made Little Anthony’s childhood a bully zone. In fact, that name in New York is like Chin or Lee to a Chinamen. I worked for endless guys named Weiner in NYC - it’s a very common Jewish-American name. And his funny looks are common here, too.
