If I am not mistaken, didn’t the NFL have a racist past? Why aren’t they protesting the NFL too?

NFL stopped being a manly sport once they had to wear pink for a month.

I don’t blame them from protesting one bit. Obama has been a horrible president for blacks. His priorities have focused on illegals and an open border thus destroying the job market for the lower rungs of the ladder. Raising the minimum wage has destroyed the inner city starter jobs.

They are protesting the Obama administration aren’t they?

If they really believed in the “cause” then let them donate their income to groups that fight it.........if not the “sit in” is just a slap in the face to the fans. Fans should stop paying to see the games. Break them financially....money talks.

Cut your cable and you can kill 3 birds with one stone. Liberal ESPN, Liberal Media, Over priced cable TV.

I wonder if certain fans will decide not to stand during the anthem as a result of this?

I’m glad I quit caring about the nfl and related big sports, both pro and college (well pretty much all sports) in the mid 80s.

I think those NFL players better realize even rookies are earning at minimum aroiund eight times the wage of the average American worker in 2016. As such, if they want to protest, be aware unless they're VERY active in local community service, what they do will be viewed as sanctimonious by the average NFL fan. I think Roger Goddell better do something fast before fans start taking action that could cause tremendous public-relations harm to the league.

Little spoiled children, now playing a child’s game for money and are rabidly ignorant of what they are supposedly “protesting.” This will bite them in the ass very quickly and they will be treated as pariahs by everyone except the ignorant fools using them. A lot of people are going to take a really big fall, but only after a rude awakening.

Very few will join. The article is trying to gin that up.

This idiocy should simply be ignored. It will end faster that way.

If they do, it's time to tune out in droves. I have never watched pro baseball since the strike in the 90s. I figured that if those guys wanted to be a bunch of babies with no allegiance to their fans, they could go shag some flies.

I'm not much of a fan of pro football to begin with, but if this crap takes hold, I will never watch it again. It makes the baseball strike look like a childhood tantrum.

Go ahead, clowns. Cut your own throats.

Time for Crackas to boycott the NFL and let these fools work on road crews for $30,000 per year.

If mega-wealthy sports and entertainment figures like Colin Kaepernick, Beyoncé, and others care so much about the injustice they claim to see in America they should donate most of their salary to charities dedicated to the causes they espouse.

Colin should keep about $50,000 to live on and put the rest of his $19 million dollar salary to work helping those he sees as victims.

Beyoncé earns about $55½ million a year so her charitable donation of $55 million should ease her mind about all the injustice she rants about.

Colin Kaepernick signed a 6 year, $114,000,000
contract with the San Francisco 49ers, including a
$12,328,766 signing bonus, $61,000,000 guaranteed,
and an average annual salary of $19,000,000.

It looks like I’ll have to find entertainment elsewhere.

Today I listened to just enough Limbaugh to hear him entertain a Trump basher, then he did a little bashing himself, was troubled at the two bad candidates we have — Hillary and a reality show host — he said. Nothing about Trump being one of the most successful businessmen in the country’s history. I won’t be tuning in Limbaugh anymore; he and Levin can get together and fondle each other.

Appears like the NFL has finally lost control of its players after playing footsie with political correctness so long. I won’t be watching any games.
