NFL IN HELL: MORE PLAYERS TO PROTEST ANTHEM?
(Excerpt) Read more at drudgereport.com ...
Time to go to church on Sunday a.m, and leave the NFL.
Works both ways.
99% of the players in the National Felon’s League give the other 1% a bad name.
It’s the hip thing to do!
Where do these idiots think their pay comes from
If the NFL wants to go the way of the NBA, this is a good way to go about it
Will they protest by not accepting their paycheck
Yeah, and I was just saying the NFL didn’t have any real controversy to start off the season...
... I guess this will do.
Anything for ratings, I guess.
“Philadelphia Eagles rookie linebacker Myke Tavarres said Monday he plans to sit during the national anthem in a preseason game later this week. Racial injustice is too important to ignore, he told ESPN.”
Myke Tavarres will now stand for national anthem Thursday
Philadelphia Eagles rookie linebacker Myke Tavarres has reversed course and will now stand for the national anthem Thursday after earlier saying he would sit it out in protest.
“He plans on standing for the National Anthem,” Tavarres’ agent, Corey Williams, said in a statement Monday. “Myke does not want to be a distraction to the Philadelphia Eagles organization. Myke’s goal is and will always be to make the Eagles 53-man roster and help the team win a Super Bowl.”
Asked if he advised Tavarres to change his stance, Williams replied: “Yes, I did.
they will set him on fire in Philly if he did this...
Libs will LUV this. They have been trying to sink the NFL for ages.
NFL seems to be succumbing to PC.
What a nice organization. Spit.
I don’t watch now, but I watch the Super-Bowl, I could cut that out too, I don’t give a cH!+ about pompous overpriced athletes...
BOYCOTT !!!

Athletes have the ability to bring important issues to the national stage. Kaepernicks actions have even brought on a debate surrounding The Star Spangled Banner, as well, with several authors bringing up the songs ties to slavery. It shows how powerful a moment it is when professional athletes speak up and take political stands.
Maybe the author and all these athletes can go with Babs
Rough on the words but spot on: https://www.facebook.com/tanksmachine/videos/1763478333866792/
If this is going to be a thing with the NFL, then it is time to bankrupt these bastards.
Someone talked sense into Myke Tavarres. That is good enough for me. I will give him a pass so long as he does not make a mockery of standing for the national anthem.
The first 49s game Boycott
Somebody needs to tell these professional meatheads the Aesop Fable about the “Golden Goose.”
They are fixin’ to kill it. Dead.
