Saw the stupidity first hand 2 weeks ago. Family walked out onto the edge of a meadow full of Buffalo so they could position their kids with the herd behind them. Sorry, kid is no match for a rampaging bull. I got stellar photos from my vehicle with a telephoto lens. Close enough

Hubby and I were hiking in Canada near Banff where only a few cars were in the lot near the trailhead. When we were about 100 yds. from the car, I looked down and saw a bush moving...then a bear’s head. I shouted, BEAR, to my husband ahead of me and he stopped, by the grace of GOD!, and looked at me and I pointed. About that time a silver tipped grizzly stopped and stood up and looked around. We were petrified, and in awe to see this creature so close! The claws and body were amazing but we wanted away as our hearts were about to burst from the fear! Luckily, it finally just went deeper into the woods and out of fear I took off and ran to the car. When we got there locals told us it had been in the parking lot and a really unusual site to see a non-tagged silver tipped grizzly!
