Trump Campaign Manager Conway: We Are Planning to Hold Minority Outreach Events in Inner Cities
Breitbart ^ | August 28,2015 | PAM KEY

On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway pledged the campaign will be doing minority outreach events in inner cities

.Conway said, “I pledge to you and everybody who is watching, Those events are actually being planned. And we are very excited about them. Look, John McCain and mitt Romney are fine — they’re wonderful human beings, great Americans. they were fine presidential nominees. John McCain got 4 percent of the African-American vote, and Mitt Romney improved that to a whopping 6 percent. We’re fighting for every single vote. We’re going to leave it all on the field. that includes going where the voters are and taking the case directly to them.”

You’re correct, I “misread” the article.

Did not know that Trump had been forced to cancel events, but you are right, I should have said “ideologically unprotected”. Those who will take the Trump campaign into the inner cities will definitely have to display quite some physical courage!

PS ScaniaMum (a longtime lurker) reminded me that just holding public meetings for the Swedish Conservatives in the working districts of Malmo in the late 1970s and 80s (long before the invasion from the MidEast) was not without its risks!

All good news! Just imagine if that moron Romney had the sense to read Free Republic and take the good advice the posters had back in 2012? We wouldn’t be having this specific conversation now.

FReepers talk about what Trump should do and, by and large, his campaign makes the common sense pivots.

Labor Day is upon us.

If Trump is close, PIAPS / Baroness Harkonnen is worried.
If Trump is tied, PIAPS / Baroness Harkonnen is scared.
If Trump is ahead, PIAPS / Baroness Harkonnen is crapping her Depends.

Notice how the MSM has tried to separate Trump from his campaign staff.

Lewandowski (regardless of his conduct, the MSM charge was bogus)

Manafort (interesting how as soon as Manafort quit, the story died...POOF)

Brannon (they’re starting up on him)

Kellyanne (not yet, but she’s probably so clean, they need time to make things up)

Oh, notice the War on Women hasn’t been heard from lately?

How can Trump be misogynist if he’s got Ivanka as a close advisor and Kellyanne as his campaign manager?

Who manages PIAPS / Baroness Harkonnen’s campaign — a girly man (well that counts a woman, I guess)

I am so jazzed about this campaign!

I think many will be swayed, as you suggest, but don’t expect them to say so in public. There are many reasons why blacks, Latinos, closeted conservatives, etc. will just shut up until the election and vote for Trump.

I tell you, Trump et al are smart smart smart. When Trump first talked about getting the AA vote (I believe at the Charlotte rally), it clicked with me right then. He is not defensive about being called racist; Republicans have never known how to respond to being called racist. Trump amazes me. He sees a problem and plans a solution - fearlessly.

I hope Trump directly challenges Hillary to do the same.

That is a great idea. She doesn't want to campaign, She wants to sit on her "lead." Pressuring her to schedule forays into black neighborhoods for town hall-type meeting will either penalize her for declining (most likely to happen) or force her to deal with face-to-face questioning which she abhors and assiduously avoids. It's a win/win for Trump! I'm sure this is super-bright Kellyanne's strategy,
