I’ll admit, I’m baffled why he’s speaking in a state he’ll likely not win. Flame me all you’d like for being a subversive or a naysayer, but I’ve never seen a hint that he can win Washington. Makes no sense to go to certain states unless it’s a fund raiser. CA, MA, OR, IL....I’d toss Washington into that bunch. Hopefully there’s a poll out there that shows him close.
Do you also criticize him for courting blacks? I mean, he hasn't had a rally venue in a black inner city.
Kellyanne is a superb pollster. I’m sure she has an internal poll that shows him within a MOE or better in WA.
If we get turnout, we win. If we don’t, Hillary wins and the country is gone. Plain and simple.
The only thing that I can attribute to an optimistic attitude about Washington state is that they don’t like the hildebeast around here. It was a heavy Bernout state. Trump may be trying to trade on the disaffected.
The counterpoint to that is that we have a ton of head in the sand pubbies here who would rather be in 2nd, (or 3rd or 4th) place rather than throw in with Trump.
I’m hoping that, despite all their whining, they do the right thing when it comes to the clenches.
I think it also highlights his wanting to serve all Americans, not only the ones who support him. When we see him speak in places where he appears to stand no chance, it shows his integrity and also shows the contrast to hillary.
jmho
Tell that to Ronald Reagan, who kicked off his 1980 general election campaign in Liberty Park, NJ - overlooking NYC harbor and lower Manhattan.
Talk about going into the belly of the beast!
People thought he was wasting his time then too. But the result was a landslide.
And one more thing, Reagan was four points behind nationally when he went to New Jersey that day. Brass balls.
I pray on Nov 9 I look at F.R.and see us all remarking how many states were won by Trump we didn’t think was possible. Keep praying all.
If nothing else he is in the news while Hillary sleeps.
Trump is here for a fund raising event. After that he might as well hold a rally. My residence is about 12 miles from the Xfinity Arena. And I am planning to be there.
