Although climate change is thought of as simply a political football, it has been a heated topic among meteorologists for years. I, for one, have changed my conclusion over time on whether humans are responsible for the increased heat content of the Earth.
I write this article not to change your mind about global warming; I simply want to show you why I changed mine. Early in my scientific studies at Nebraska, most believed that humans could never pollute this massive globe enough to make a measurable difference. As a student, I learned to never exclude any possibility until ultimately that possibility is proven false. It was called skepticism, not denial, and skepticism is a key foundation of the scientific process. In the '80s and '90s there seemed to be many other potential causes of climate change, not only humans. Volcanoes, solar fluctuations, city heat-islands, concrete production and yes, even the cattle population. The list went on and on and seemed endless. I wondered if all these potential causes were given adequate consideration?
2010 was a turning point for me. That year was the hottest year on record, even though there was a La Niña present, a process that should have cooled the planet.

I saw the source and knew where it was going. ;-)
After smugly pontificating about man-made climate changeTM, he started to criticize CNN's weatherman for being a "Denier."
I guess the weatherman wanted to keep his job.
Plant more trees. Let icebergs melt a little more so more ocean to absorb co2
The sun spot minimum is going to cause cooling and CNN is not mentioning it.
Let's be clear: Climate Change® is about political, not empirical, science.
Forty thousand years ago CO2 levels spiked as global temperatures warmed. Why? In part, due to CO2 that was released from the oceans as temperatures rose. CO2 is more soluble in cold water.
He eventually succumbed to the Human Caused warming scam because he believes the fake temperature numbers made up by environment nuts.
“I changed my mind once I realized how incredibly easy it is to make money promoting the scam and how much power I could accumulate.”
The reality is that a slightly warmer planet would be a GOOD thing. A colder planet is a BAD thing. Example: Some decent analysis shows that a cooling period helped precipitate the Dark Ages, and moving out of that cooling period helped precipitate the Renaissance.
Where is the scientific proof of this?
The only way they could stop any so called Human Influence on the Climate:
1. Kill off Humanity
2.
In before “how can less-than-specks”...
;^)
The last ice age certainly didn't end due to human caused global warming. Something else was at work.

That quote from him was from March 30, 2010 so I think he is miss-representing his "switch" quite a bit..also known as lying.

let’s not be hasty here...maybe if we all just went back to being native Americans, living in peaceful harmony with each other, frolicking in the woods and communing with birds and the beasts...
I won’t even give CNN the click. This article would not even be published if it did not have one specific ending.
“Early in my scientific studies at Nebraska, most believed that humans could never pollute this massive globe enough to make a measurable difference.”
most believed that humans could never pollute this massive globe
STOP right there! At this point this guy needs not say one more word. This is almost correct.
Let me fix it..... humans could never pollute this massive globe.
He then uses the term “meteorologists” another liberal substitute word for WEATHERMEN. We all know how accurate “weathermen” are.
He then goes on to say how his skepticism of man made global warming was turned into belief in man made global warming.
The problem with his conversion is that he quotes ZERO EVIDENCE. He says (no proof) it isn’t this and it isn’t that so it MUST BE MAN.
What a scientist. /s
I will not listen to any nonsense about man made global warming until someone disproves the original Greenland ice cores proving that CO2 levels began increasing BEFORE the industrial revolution.
Prove that WRONG, don’t show me OTHER evidence, prove THAT evidence wrong.
