Maine went for Obama, twice, and hasn’t voted for a Republican president since Bush the elder. Maybe they will learn from past mistakes, but I doubt it.
I vacation there in summer. I saw a lot of Trump signs through travel up the east coast and some of the rural interior. My favorite bumper sticker was on the back of a truck owned by a lobsterman: Trump or the Bitch: Your Choice.

Maine hasn’t voted for a Republican since Bush1 because they don’t exist. We have a great governor though.
