Don’t you take turns caring for it? My husband had a favorite yard American Flag and another not yet opened...both beautiful embroidered stars. I had those similarly boxed in smaller boxes for 2 daughters and the third said she would wait for the funeral flag...I bet she never expected to be waiting for these 20 years!
I think I ought to take it to her next visit...glad you made me think of that.
