urkish tanks and other vehicles have rolled across the Syrian border after heavy shelling of an area held by so-called Islamic State (IS).
Military sources told Turkish media 70 targets in the Jarablus area had been destroyed by artillery and rocket strikes, and 12 by air strikes.
Turkish-backed Syrian rebels who are following the advance say they have entered the town of Jarablus itself.
The operation is aimed against both IS and Kurdish fighters.
Turkey shelled Syrian Kurdish forces in the region this week, determined not to let them fill the vacuum if IS leaves.
US Vice-President Joe Biden warned Kurdish forces in Syria they would lose US support if they advanced west of the River Euphrates.

I don’t really know, frankly. What I really want is the complete stoppage of ‘refugees’ to this country.
It will probably escalate the refugee crisis which makes 0dungheap happy anyway. Notice he NEVER proposes safe zones because this would hinder the expansion of the Muslim Caliphate.
That is a complete danger, too, but this problem is not the US’ problem in my opinion. It is not worth one more US soldier’s life, period.
All we can do now is to pester our agents in that country club Congress to stop Obama and elect a President other than that bitch Clinton.

So we’re allied with the Kurds who are killing ISIS and we’re allied with the Turks who think a fine way to spend a Wednesday is to kill a bunch of Kurds?

Just a coincidence that Biden was just there. Look for some quid pro quo deal with Turkey whereby they go after ISIS in Syria and the US extradites Muhammed Fethullah Gülen to Turkey.
