He had done this before. He had been arrested before. He didn't pull over, and he didn't remain in his vehicle when he crashed and stopped.
If you don't want to be shot by a cop, don't run from cops and don't jump out of your car waving your arms. It's not rocket science.
And the cop had absolutely no way of knowing the guy was deaf. If you have evidence that he did, present it or shut up.
It used to be common sense that a person remain in the vehicle when pulled over. Common sense is more uncommon these days. I'm not disputing that he should have remained in his vehicle.
But you used an example of running toward the police officers, which no one is claiming he had done.
Did the man make poor choices? Obviously. That is unquestionable. Did the police use deadly force too quickly? That remains to be seen. I hope there is a video of the incident so that a factual determination can be made.
