WVnan, Yes, each day is a new day. I’ve always tried to look at the bright side, but sometimes Its not easy. My husband also has dementia which makes me sad. We can no longer have long talks or enjoy many things together, but I see his face light up when I walk in the room and then I know we’re are still connected, just in a different way.
That does make it harder for you. Knowing that is part of your care taking pushes me to count my blessings once again. I will think of you in prayer.
