Then I’d say the AR-15 is about the most acceptable recoil. In-line reaction muzzle to shoulder, direct gas impingement to the bolt and a bolt buffer tube and spring in the stock.....pretty manageable - I have a video of my little teenaged daughter shooting mine....she handled it quite well.
