If Donald Trump can continue the disciplined and "more presidential" approach of the past week, I don't see any way he does not win in a landslide.

Personally, I've liked Mr. Trump's unscripted, politically incorrect and off-the-cuff style. I found it quite refreshing. However, we apparently have a bunch of nervous nellies in this country who wring their hands and have nervous breakdowns because Donald Trump is not being "nice."

I had thought that the country was fed up with phony-baloney politicians who parse every word and read poll-tested boilerplate from tele-prompters all the time. But this is apparently what the country wants and I believe Mr. Trump will oblige if that's what he must do to win the election. But deep down inside, he'll always be our Donald Trump.

There IS a large swath of America that feels like you (and I) do. But America is where it is - in a pretty bad place - because of the people not despite their will. Whether by deceit or trickery or moral decline or craven greed, the people (a majority of them anyway) brought us here...and pretty quickly.

So if it is “tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies” that is necessary, if they can stomach only gruel, not solid food, then that’s where we have to go to entice them into doing what is needed.
