The kingdom of Saudi Arabia donated more than $10 million. Through a foundation, so did the son-in-law of a former Ukrainian president whose government was widely criticized for corruption and the murder of journalists. A Lebanese-Nigerian developer with vast business interests contributed as much as $5 million.
For years the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation thrived largely on the generosity of foreign donors and individuals who gave hundreds of millions of dollars to the global charity. But now, as Mrs. Clinton seeks the White House, the funding of the sprawling philanthropy has become an Achilles heel for her campaign and, if she is victorious, potentially her administration as well.
With Mrs. Clinton facing accusations of favoritism toward Clinton Foundation donors during her time as secretary of state, former President Bill Clinton told foundation employees on Thursday that the organization would no longer accept foreign or corporate donations should Mrs. Clinton win in November.
But while the move could avoid the awkwardness of Mr. Clinton jetting around the world asking for money while his wife is president, it did not resolve a more pressing question: how her administration would handle longtime donors seeking help from the United States, or whose interests might conflict with the countrys own.
The Clinton Foundation has accepted tens of millions of dollars from countries that the State Department before, during and after Mrs. Clintons time as secretary criticized for their records on sex discrimination and other human-rights issues. The countries include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Brunei and Algeria.

So, after November and the anticipated Hillary loss....and the continuation of the Clinton Foundation with expected donations to continue....what exactly do these donor-countries expect to get from Bill and Hillary? Will Bill still deliver $400,000 speeches? Will Hillary get $250,000 for a speech?
The normalization of obvious, screaming evil - what the MSM does best.
“Tell me, Eva, what type of tea do you prefer to unwind at the end of a long day touring concentration camps? Is it a hardship that the war is interrupting the supply of chamomile?
After the campaign kills her from sheer exhaustion and breakdown, her body double will be buried alive while she is taken to the antigravity ships at Area 51, in perfect health, with all the loot, and flown to the secret Mars base where Steve Jobs is living.
what the #### can any human say that is worth 400k!!!???
If I WAS that wealthy, there are few things I would pay 400k to see, and none of them can be mentioned here :)
The NY Slime trying to come clean before their Goddess Hildabeast takes a fall, real or imaginary, in either case it will be real, watch for it.
So... it was all very innocent and after November it will stop. Riiiight!
“America, I will stop pimping you out for cold cash for me, if you just elect me President!”
To be honest here, in terms of what I’d pay and who’d I’d pay to hear....I would be willing to pay $200 to hear (1) Warren Buffet on investing, and (2) Peter Hitchens.
I’d probably also pay a $100 to hear Milo Yiannopoulos talk.
For Bill? I’d pay $1.50 but expect a free beer as part of the deal.
So, why doesn't he offer to RETURN all teh foreign and Corporate money? It's all DIRTY!
‘the sprawling philanthropy’
Yeah, right. As long as the definition of ‘philanthropy,’ is, ‘lining the pockets of the Clinton family,’ that designation is accurate.
rofl!!
Free beer lol
I hope it is weighing her down. Consider for a second that the woman who claims to be “fighting for us” and “protecting the working and middle class” ran a charity where she and her family/friends kept 90 cents of every dollar out of hundreds of millions that was intended for the needy. The same woman who, along with her pervert husband, charges 250k-750k per speech from people who seemingly had government business before her office. The same woman who literally just took a jet, yes a jet, on a 20 mile flight for a 100,000 a plate fundraising dinner.
Yep.... all hail the queen!
They mean this scandal is a running sore on US democracy and makes us one among others in the corrupt world. How magnanimous of HBC to stop taking bribes if she is elected President..they are so fnn morally superior that they will graciously shift down from Gulfstreams to AF1. This is the article that I will forward and print out for anyone I know who will vote for Hillary. Guaranteed it will kill a lot of light cocktail chatter.
“Let us back in the WH and we’ll swear off the bribes for a while.” Billary
Only the NYT could call the Clinton Foundation a philanthropy. In fact it’s a money laundering bribe vehicle for the Clinton’s insatiable money-lust.

+1!
Hey, who woke the New York Slimes up? I mean, the overseas money to the Clintons has been known since the mid-1990’s (just ask Al Gore about his rich female Buddhist nuns and how much they gave to him).
Oh, by the way, the Mafia, through one of their controlled unions, LIUNA, gave the Clintons and the Democrat Senate Campaign Committee about $10,000,000 in the mid 90’s.
Hey, when you’re on a roll, why stop?
Maybe in 50 years if they last that long, the NYT will have caught up on the dirty dealings of the Democrats from Ted Kennedy to Al Gore to John F**king Kerry, to Hillary, Bill, Sandy Burglar (Berge), John Podesta, George Soros the Puppetmaster/Moneymeister, the Cuomos, and Terry McAuliffe, just to mention a few.
Oh, gotta throw in Pelosi and husband, along with Diane Feinstein and husband. All should have been in jail long ago. In fact, I think Feinstein’s husband was.
Tomorrow’s NYT’s headline: “Trump Harshly Criticizes Pres. Obama for taking a Vacation”. More at 6.
