After 60 years of entitlements, how many blacks will actually want jobs? There's a large bloc out there who get paid for doing nothing at all, and having to work for their money doesn't appeal. Easier to stay unemployed and keep their SNAP cards and Obamaphones.
I talk to the building guards when I get in early. Most of them work 2+ jobs.

Focus on empowerment: school choice, fewer illegals taking jobs. For starters. I think K-12 school choice alone wins big for a lot of blacks who want their kids out of dead-end inner city schools and are sitting on long waiting lists for charter schools. Big pool of voters there, I’d bet.

It’s true that there’s a segment of the black population who are so institutionalized, they’re unreachable, but I think a strongly delivered message of hope and dignity through self reliance, will resonate with most blacks.
Even if Trump’s message touches only one in five blacks, that’s 20% of that voting block, which spells doom for the Dems.
