On August 21, 1981, after making a thorough mess of my life, I asked Jesus to come into my life and be my savior.

Having been raised a Catholic, I was surprised to feel like I wanted to be baptized, but yep ... there it was.
So I called a Baptist church out of the phone book.
VERY long story short ... I went to that Baptist church the next week, was baptized .... and for next 35 years, I have been under His wing, and the preaching of His word and He has been the only reason I sometimes don't tear into another FReeper's arrogant religious statements as if they know what they're talking about.
Jesus sometimes IS the only glue in ALL of our lives .... YOU'RES too.
Then why did you say of Cruz that “Only Jesus keeping his life and marriage together,” as though relying on Jesus is a bad thing? Was that meant to be some kind of insult, or a kind affirmation of the faith he shares with you in Christ?
