I think it’s so we can see an overwhelming number of red voters for Trump (hopefully) so we can challenge poll results if he doesn’t do well in the precinct. No way to really know, though.
That could enhance the reverse Bradley/Wilder effect because people could tell the world they didn’t vote for Trump by not wearing red, when they actually voted for Trump.
