Can’t disagree with anything you’ve said, and I haven’t given up. But at times, it can be extremely disheartening. I have never before in my life felt so uncertain about the future of this country than I do today.
My mother felt uncertain when she saw live footage of Waco that was never shown again. I didn’t believe her until ‘96 when Ron Brown’s wife said that the Clintons weren’t welcome to his funeral. She later recanted, but that was one weird hour of shifting news.
Then I found Paul Weyrich’s satellite TV program, NET. I still think that the Clintons did want to launch a coup on Y2K, but people were so ready for it that he blinked and decided instead to make fools of them.
