President Obama, under fire for golfing on posh Martha's Vineyard during a week of anguished cries for help from flooded Louisiana, ripped former President Bush 11 years ago when the Republican was seen as slow to react to Hurricane Katrina's crash into New Orleans.
Obama, who had just returned from New Orleans, preached on the Senate floor about Bush's poor reaction to similar cries for help during Katrina.

He hasn’t done anything but run his damn mouth his entire tenure. He’s only action when it comes to supporting Al Qaeda and ISIL (he won’t say “ISIL” ......take a look at map of ‘Levant’ and you’ll see why).
He only did so because the Media had made it into a story. Had the media chosen to ignore it, as they are now doing with Obama's golf vacation while poor black people in Louisiana are losing their homes, he wouldn't have been able to make an issue out of it.
People, the media create "issues", and the media decides what issues are important and which will get on the air. (Usually on the basis of whether it helps or hurts Democrats.)
The media is the political arm of the Democrat party and they have complete control over the American airwaves. This power needs to be taken away from them.
We don't have to just win the Executive and Legislative branches of government. We must win the "Fourth Estate" of government too, or we will never be able to solve the problems this nation is facing.

Its good to remember that while Bush took non-stop pounding for his performance during and after Katrina, and took it for years, the fact is that the only agencies that performed properly were federal agencies under his control.
State and local agencies, controlled by Democrats as it happens, failed outrageously and finally the whole situation had to be federalized. Once under Bush’s control, everything proceeded properly.
