I once viewed a training video for farmers on how to calibrate their field sprayers.

The stuff they are putting down is very application specific. Too little and it won’t work. Too much and it will burn up their crops.

To calculate the right amount you need to know the properties of the spray tip you are using, the pressure in the tank, and the speed that the tractor is pulling the rig forward.

The guy in the tape pulled out a calculator and began plunking numbers into an equation. He was wearing Carhart coveralls and a Mail Pouch ballcap.

I always get a kick out of city folk who think organic somehow makes the product better, and that in their twisted PC minds believe that American farmers are producing poison to feed them and the world....
