This is the "polls based" he's sure to lose contention. As Charlie Sykes put it, Trump entering the hospice phase of his candidacy, surrounding himself with friends.

A similar contention is that he intends to lose, this is all a big sham on his part, and he is going to walk away with Ailes and Bannon and make a fortune in some new media enterprise.

Once speculation become legitimate news, there is no end to the possibilities.
