Yes. In Death Valley, maybe!
The 1930s were hotter in PA.
Data cherry picking / government corruption bump for later...
I wonder if they took into account May, June, or July of 1956?
When 5,7 and 5 nuclear devices were detonated above ground, by the United States.
6 of which were hydrogen bombs.
Those would skew your temperature readings.
Talk about man made global warming.
in 1961, the USSR had a total of 57 devices tested in Sept, Oct and Nov.
Something tells me the heat from these blasts would tilt all the other readings combined.
According to NASA every month is the hottest on record. The temperature shouldn’t be dipping below 100 by now.
NASA is full of shit, they’ve already been caught faking data in the past, they failed us in their main mission, the space shuttle gained us nothing, I hope Trump shuts that agency down ...
Obama had better use an EO to outlaw production and use of Fossil Fuels ASAP. It’s the only way to fix things.
Now THAT is some html!!!
KYPD
Everything has been corrupted; NASA, the DOJ, EPA, NOAA, NIH,
HUD, DOT, Homeland Insecurity, FBI, NSA, SS, SSA, FFA, did I say the DOJ? Not to diss the EPA, the Corps of Engineers, or the NFS, the Hurricane Center, or ICE (no DICE) and even AARP.
Yeah. So, where did the palm tree fossils in Greenland come from? And, where did the armadillo ancestors vacation because the Equatorial regions were too damn hot? Oh, that’s right they loved the shores of Barrow, Alaska and Spitzbergen in August of eons past.
There isn’t a thing that eminates from the US Bureaucracy that I trust anymore.
they consider dinosaurs “pre-”historic.
I was wondering about that while I was watching the beautiful manned rocket launch yesterday...oh wait they can’t do that anymore...
NASA should get back to what they do the best, that was:
I forgot!
The drive to put a man on the moon drove technical discovery and or focusing of new or even existing technology.
It has always been my thought, that if we had continued our space efforts, more of the same would have taken place.
Is is crushing to realize that is has been since December of 1972, that we had a man on the Moon.
We spent only a little over ten years going from Alan Shepards first entry into space in May of 1961, to landing on the Moon in July of 1969.
And then...
We came up with the Shuttle, flew it to death, and essentially returned to the Alan Shepard days.
Yes we have a lot of gathered knowledge and know how, but we can’t put a man in space today. Imagine that, some 43 plus years later...
Man this sucks.
All those billions of dollars, and NASA is now an Islamic out-reach program, and doing flight body research that private industry should be doing.
Talk about your riches to rags endeavors.
NASA’s attempt to be relevant and get funding for anything since they voted their king of science in obama. Then he promptly gutted their agency. You made your bed NASA.
N.A.S.A.
Not A Scientific Agency.
YAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Based on the best available evidence, Earth is some 4,600,000,000 (that’s billion) years old.
NASA is about 40 years old or .000000009% of the time,
Yet they know best. Hm................
As I recall, it was pretty darn hot in July 1312.
When NASA compared July's temperature (how did they measure that, btw) to the average temperature of the "1950 through 1980 global average," did they use satellite data from the same satellites in 1950 and 1960 as they did in 2016?
Just how does one measure the temperature of "the earth?" At the core? On the surface? Of the land? Sea? At 1000 feet up? Ten feet below in the dirt? Ten feet below in the ocean? 100 feet? From a satellite? With a huge rectal thermometer? What samples sizes did they have in 1950? In 1960?
You are asking the wrong questions, you are supposed to ask, "How do you feel about it"?
I’m Melting!!!!!!!!!
