The problem is that “most” people expect this is simply politics as usual and that all politicians are guilty of the same thing, so they shrug off her offenses and go about their business, claiming this is just the way the game is played. It’s the “everybody does it” fallacy. They fail to see that we, the people, could and SHOULD hold them to a higher standard, because they have forgotten the politicians work for us, and if we acted as we should, they are answerable to us. I believe there is a correlation between the lazier/apathetic the people are, the more corrupt the politicians are.

I've often thought that one of the best things we could do to tame the federal government is move them out of Washington DC.

The communications/internet revolution has made this much easier.  Federal government offices should be widely disbursed to small cities and towns across the country.

We should have departments pull up their stakes and move to a new city every 10 years.  That way it's easier to get the bureaucratic deadwood out of the government.

And term limits for fat cat bureaucrats, too.

Can't wait to see what Trump does to the waste, fraud, and abuse in the government.  It's gonna be a thing of great beauty.  Lots of weeping and gnashing of teeth, but people will adjust -- and the country will be much more efficient and a private job grower.
